Why I Hate Religion

I hate religion because of one  huge problem. The  problem is what I call “The must do’s.” The must do’s are things that religion says you need to do in order to get to heaven. It could be pat your head and rub your tummy or you must earn your way to Heaven. But the Bible says “I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (Jesus says this.) That means that the only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. Some times religion says you need to be baptized in order to be saved. But the Bible never says that. The Bible says to go out to the world baptizing men, but it only says that you need to die to your self and live for God. Religion says do this, but the Bible says it’s already done. Religion says it’s not finished, but the Bible says it is. The Bible preaches forgiveness but religion preaches condemnation. The Bible gives life but religion brings death. This is why I hate Religion.
