There is a new “translation” of the Bible that people can get. The problem is it’s not the Bible. It’s not the Word of God. This translation is called the “Queen James Bible.” This book was created by liberals who don’t want to offend gays and lesbians. They changed the Bible to fit their life styles. Well let me tell you right now, up front and honest, it is NOT the Word of God. It is not God given, God breathed, and living. It is a lie and a trap.
There is only one way to Heaven and that is through Christ Jesus. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Light. No one comes to the father except through me.” The Jesus that the Queen James Bible talks of, I don’t know him, I don’t serve him. My Jesus is all sufficient, holy and just. He holds the keys of death in one hand and the Book of Life in the other. He sits on the right hand of Almighty God. He died on the cross and three days later he rose again. That’s my Jesus. That’s my God.
The Queen James Bible speaks of a god who loves homosexuality. Well, that’s not the LORD God. God hates homosexuality. He despises it. (He hates every sin.) He might love everyone. He might accept everyone where they are at, BUT, he want’s you to change as you grow in the relationship. He want’s us to turn from our wicked ways.
This snare of a book will not lead you to Christ. It won’t save you. It is not anointed by God. The Word of God is suppose to offend us. It is suppose to convict us. We are suppose to feel weird and uncomfortable. Human nature despises the Word of God. Human’s naturally get offended by it. We are sinful beings. The Bible is perfect, holy, and truth. We are not.
But at the same time we need the truth. The truth will set us free, and save us. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ you are not of this world but are just visiting just for a while. God loves all people, that means we as Christians are to love everyone. But God hates all sin, which means we are to hate sin. We are called to love the sinner and hate the sin.
The sinner might be a homosexual, a drunkard, a liar or a thief. They could be a murderer, an adulterer or proud. But we are called to love them. We, the believers, are no better than anyone else. The only difference is that we are saved by grace. We fall everyday and get back up. We are called to love everyone, but hate the sin. I hope that if you read this, you understand that there is only one Word of God, one God, and one way to Heaven.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16 ESV)
