Good enough Isn’t Good Enough

Christianity is not about being just good enough. It’s not about sitting in the back of a room while others are encountering God. It’s not about supporting others when they are going through something (although it is important.) Christianity is not about being on the sideline while others are working and serving God. That’s not what it’s about.

Christianity is about being ALL-IN. Christianity is doing what Elisha did when he was called by Elijah. It’s about chopping up your life, your sins, your addictions, your comfortable life style and your desires, AND burning them at the altar. It’s about not having a plan B. It’s about doing what ever it takes to serve God.

If you are a “good enough” Christian, are you even a Christian? Or are you lukewarm? The Bible states very clearly that it would be better for you to be either cold or hot than to be lukewarm. You are either all in, or your all out. there’s no in between.

Like “I Have Decided” says, “I have decided to follow Jesus, No turning back, No turning back. The cross before me the world behind me no turning back. No turning back. Though none go with me, still I will follow, no turning back, no turning back.”

I’m All-In. Are you?
